with acclaim internationally.
Ceramics: Art and Perception aims to set the standard as a dedicated
magazine on ceramic art. With a total of 120 pages, it contains substantial
articles and regular features on a broad range of ceramics related subjects
with excellent colour photographs throughout. More than 12,000 copies
are distributed world wide each quarter.
In 1995, a companion magazine, CeramicsTECHNICAL was launched. This magazine
focuses on technical research in the field of ceramic art and is designed
to be a useful tool for artists and potters.
Janet Mansfield, the editor of Ceramics: Art and Perception has had nearly
30 years of experience as editor of ceramics magazines and has written
a number of books on ceramics. She is a well known potter having trained
at the National Art School in Sydney, Australia, in 1963 - 65. Her work
is represented in international collections and publications. With this
magazine Janet Mansfield hopes to provide a serious and thought-provoking
forum at the highest standard for ceramic artists, curators, writers,
collectors, teachers and students. |
